High Adventure

Troop 850 has a long tradition of organizing annual high adventure trips for our older Scouts, ordinarily those who are at least 13 years of age and have attained at least the rank of First Class. Depending on the trip, there are often other prerequisites which must be met in order to be eligible. Past high adventures have included whitewater kayaking in West Virginia, the BSA National Seabase, canoeing and fishing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota, and various backpacking trips. Information about some of these destinations can be found at the following links:
