Rock Climbing Campout – May 19-21, 2017
Troop 850 will be rock climbing in May at Torrent Falls, located near Natural Bridge, KY about 2 ½ hours from Cincinnati. This is consistently among the campouts Scouts mention as one of their favorites. Check out the photos and other information at TorrentFalls.com. We will be camping nearby at Natural Bridge State Park campground. The cost for this campout is higher then typical at $45 per person; this is because the climbing fee is $36. The Troop will absorb much of remaining costs – food, camping fees, and transportation.
Everyone who plans on rock climbing must submit a Torrent Falls waiver and all Scouts must complete the Troop permission slip. Please turn in all required forms with payment by Tuesday, May 16th.
Last weekend, I went on a rock climbing campout with a small group of friends at a scenic cliffside park. The days were packed with challenging climbs, learning new techniques, and supporting each other as we tackled tricky routes. The fresh air, the sound of birds, and the view from the top made every effort worth it. In the evenings, we set up camp, cooked meals over a portable stove, and shared stories under the stars, enjoying the calm after a day full of adventure.
During one of our rest breaks, someone mentioned MozzartBet App Kenya 2026 and shared this link: https://mozzartbetplay.app. It was interesting to see how mobile apps make it easy to follow games and stay updated even while outdoors. Combining adventure, camaraderie, and a little digital fun made the campout an unforgettable experience for everyone.
