Service Project Campout at Fort Ancient, March 8-10 2019
Troop 850 will hold a Service Campout at Fort Ancient the weekend of March 8-10. We will perform a service project in the park; we have not yet heard what project we will do this year, but last time we went we spent 4 hours clearing brush and trees from the side of a pathway. We will have an opportunity to tour the Fort Ancient Museum after we complete our service. Saturday evening is typically free on Service Campout weekends, and can be used to work on advancement or just to enjoy each other’s company.
Fort Ancient staff will supply all the tools needed for the project, with the exception of appropriate personal attire. Scouts should wear long legged pants, long sleeve shirts, work gloves and work boots if they have them.
Please return the Permission Slip and Waiver form by March 5th.
