It is time to place our annual order for new t-shirts. Every Scout or adult planning to attend either summer camp or the high adventure trip will need seven t-shirts, one each of the following colors: lime green, red, tan, grey, orange, yellow, and light blue–a clean t-shirt for every day of the week-long trip. Please take an inventory of your shirts and let me know as soon as possible how many shirts of each color and each size you will need this year. The price is $8 per shirt. Shirts available in adult sizes S M L XL XXL XXXL. I need to submit the order not later than April 22 to ensure we get the shirts in time for summer camp in June, so please respond promptly! Thanks.

Reminder – this Saturday – pancake setup at 5:30 PM immediately after 4:30 PM Mass. Wear your RED T-SHIRT (Class B). We will move tables and chairs and set up the cafeteria for our Sunday Morning breakfast.
A separate post and email will be sent with shift assignments. Please arrive a few minutes early before your shift and check in with Chip Branscum. If you have a conflict with the time slot please see if you can trade with another scout family.

Advanced sales for the Pancake Breakfast are due at this Tuesday’s Troop Meeting. Please place all money and any unsold tickets in an envelope with your scout’s name clearly written on the envelope. Mrs. Eichhold will be at the Troop Meeting to collect your envelopes and will have additional advance tickets for those who have sold more than they had on hand. Attention all Scout Leaders. The Archdiocese has adopted a new training program for all adults working with our youth. Every leader and adult volunteer must attend a mandatory training session. The Boy Scouts have organized a training session for Tuesday December 11, 2012. There is no troop activity for this particular Tuesday so what better opportunity than to join your fellow scout leaders for this important training!
To register for this session please go to www.virtus.org. Click on “registration” on the left side of the screen and using the pull-down menu select “Cincinnati, OH (Archdiocese). You will be asked to create your own personal ID and password. Once you complete that you will be asked to select the primary location for work/volunteer/worship and you can select St. Ignatius Loyola (Cincinnati).
You will have some other questions to go through and then you can select St. Ignatius, Tuesday Dec 11 as your training session.

- All Scouts and Adults are required to complete a Medical form signed by a medical professional to be turned in prior to camp. A link to this form is provided below.
Keeping track of 25 or 30 Scouts at camp or on the road to high adventure can be challenging, to say the least. We’ve found that having all of our Scouts and Troops wear the same t-shirt for these events is a huge help to our adult leaders. So for the past few years we’ve let everyone know exactly what color troop t-shirts they will need to wear on these trips. This year, everyone (Scout or adult) who is going to summer camp at Camp Friedlander will need troop t-shirts in the following colors: RED YELLOW BRIGHT GREEN ORANGE GRAY TAN MAROON
Everyone going on the high adventure trip to Minnesota will need: RED YELLOW BRIGHT GREEN ORANGE
An order form is attached here: Please fill it out with your t-shirt needs and return to Chas Hertlein not later than the May 15 meeting so we’ll have time to get our order filled with the t-shirt company. The cost is $8.00 per shirt.
Fairfield schools are closed – no MBC today.
Troop 850 will be attending Summer Camp July 22-28 at Camp Friedlander near Loveland, Ohio. The cost per Scout is $ 250 and the Troop will pay the cost for Adults who attend camp for the entire week. Payments should be made to Troop 850 and the first payment of $ 75 is due January 31st, another $ 75 by March 27th, and the balance of $ 100 is due by May 8th. Council will charge an extra $ 20 for late payments, so be sure to make your payments on time.

Signup for merit badges begins in March and pages 10-11 contain details on the merit badges offered. Pages 14-15 have information on programs for older Scouts. Please note, some extra fees are charged for certain merit badges and programs.
This will be a memorable week for our Scouts and we hope to have a large turnout of Scouts and adults.
